Total construction cost approximately $500,000.00. FMO designed the facade repairs for this 6 story building. Work included entire replacement of parapet walls with new 24" tall parapet walls with side mounted aluminum rails, new sills, new loose lintels, entire roof replacement with new insulated roofing system (approx. 4,000sf), replacement of deteriorated roof sheathing, reinforcement of roof deteriorated roof joists and masonry repairs. Work also included the entire replacement of the 50ft long street facing sheet metal cornice, with new custom fiber reinforced cornice to match existing. FMO, designed the galv. structural steel bracket system to support the new cornice. Pullout tests performed on the anchor bolts.
