Total construction cost approximately $650,000.00. FMO designed the facade repairs for this 6 story landmark building for LL-11 6th cycle repairs. Work included repair of existing deteriorated sheet metal cornice with new custom built modillions, egg and dart moldings, leaf moldings, crown molding, box molding and continuous fascia molding. Deteriorated sections of the cornice structure were reinforced with pressure treated wood. The facade repairs included new precast concrete sills, new lintels, new precast concrete lintels and window jambs to match existing terracotta lintels and jambs and masonry repairs, such as pointing, brick replacement and epoxy crack injection.
